ydivyasri
Divya, born in 1996, is an artist from India, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She has worked with watercolor, performance, video, and low-tech media, including physical computing and coding, and has experimented with everyday consumer materials and, on one occasion, with agar to cultivate bacteria. Her works broadly engage with themes of consumerism, feminist perspectives, mental health, and surveillance.
